Switching paper bags and envelopes

In addition to Unipac® Bio, a zippered bag made from plant-derived materials, we are gradually switching to eco-friendly paper bags for sample delivery and envelopes for documents. In making the switch, we are using “forest certified paper” as the base paper for paper bags and envelopes, and “vegetable oil ink*” as the ink used in printing.

* Inks whose oily content is partly made up of renewable plant-derived oils, such as soybean oil and coconut oil, or recycled oils, instead of petroleum.

Expected benefits for environmental protection

01
Reduction of volatile organic compounds (VOCs)
02
Easy to separate ink and paper for easy recycling of printed materials
03
Easily decomposed in the soil even when landfilled as garbage
