Paint
for PLASTIC / GLASS
The method of applying a paint on and coloring the surfaces of glass bottles and plastic containers offers a variety of tones for colorful expressions.
Paint
The use of a paint is a flexible way of producing
transparent(clear-colored)*,
translucent* or opaque
containers, as well as vibrant pearly tones and gradations,
which are difficult to produce
by coloring the substrate material.
While spray paint and electrostatic paint are typically
used,
the finished painted film has the same level of
strength.
* When choosing a milk white material, please remember
that it is not possible to make it transparent.
Example paints
Paint Techniques
Left:Gloss Right:Matte
A matte finish can be achieved by adding a matte agent to the top coat. (Both glass and plastic containers can have a matte finish. )
Example Paint Expressions
- Gradient Paint
- Internal Paint
Enables shaded expressions and combinations of colors.
Internal paint is an option for containers that feature a two-part body. Painting the internal surface of the outer part, which does not come into contact with the contents, gives the container a depth and a sophisticated appearance.
Various Pigments and Other Specs
Various attractive pigments effectively produce a refined style and unique
characteristics such as pearly shines and mirror-like effects.
Pearl
The Pearl pigment is used to simulate a pearl-like luster. The color comes from multiple reflections produced by variations in refractive index resulting from different thicknesses of titanium oxide or other substances coated on mica or other substrates. Paint is useful for producing beautiful pearly colors with a threedimensional effect, since the process ca n be divided into base color and pearly color paint processes if necessary.

Antibacterial coating
This additive is used to inhibit bacteria such as E. coli and Staphylococcus aureus. Unlike disinfectants that kill bacteria, this product uses safe silver ions to inhibit bacterial growth.
Antiviral coating
The metal ions contained in the additive inhibit the multiplication of the virus by damaging its protein membrane.
